OK, I’m a guy who doesn’t always need to know how things work as long as they work. Street photography is one of the most popular photography styles that attracts people to the field. It’s also one of the hardest arts to master, not only because of the technical difficulties in finding interesting compositions and being able to handle the camera on the fly, but also because many people are intimidated by shooting photographs of strangers on the street. This is why small, compact lenses are ideal for this type of photography, in fact many street photographers use smaller more inconspicuous cameras as well so as not to bring attention to themselves in public, allowing them to shoot intimate moments they would otherwise have disturbed.
