My Favourite Site to Learn from Others

In photography, learning from others is one of the best ways to educate yourself about what makes a good photograph and what doesn’t. Like many online photographers, I have a number of favourite sites I look through each month/week/day to go through photos and articles to develop a better understanding photography.

Understanding your camera metering modes (Matrix, Centre-weighted & Spot metering)

This week we go through the 3 main types of exposure metering modes that modern SLRs use: Matrix, Centre-weighted, and Spot metering.

Each mode can be very useful in different scenarios and being aware of how the metering systems work will give you control over how your photographs are exposed.
