Portrait Photography using Fill Flash in 3 Easy Steps
Our second Two-minute Tutorial #2 -- How to take pro-quality portrait photographs using a fill flash.
This tutorials shows you how to take great portraits indoors using a fill flash. A fill flash is a flash is used so that it doesn’t overpower the background and instead just ‘fills’ in shadow areas, while the photo captures much of the ambient light. This results in a much more natural looking portrait which doesn’t look like a ‘paprazzi’ shot of a celebrity at a party.
